Party on the metro, put forward by Newcastles Anti Cuts Network

Why the Metro?
The Metro cleaners who are some of the lowest paid metro workers are currently balloting for strike action on issues of pay and conditions. So we thought we'd take up the opportunity to support them and promote there fight as well as in defense of public services. The idea first came about after watching youtube videos of the tube parties which happened in London a few years ago.

The plan?
Meet above ground at Monument, members of the Anti Cuts Network are aiming to bring instruments and sound systems to liven up the party. Once assembled we'll head down to the metro and head any which way we want.
