Reports
Notts Uncut had another successful afternoon. We held our support group "Vodafone Anonymous" for people to discuss their feelings about this company avoiding billions in tax while jobs, benefits and services are being cut for ordinary working class people. We had a great response from the public when.we held our sessions outside both city centre stores, although Vodafone security did seem rather confused when we put down blankets and sat on the ground in a circle!
We followed this up with occupations of both Topshop (they mustn't have been paying attention, they're normally very quick at closing the doors) and Dorothy Perkins.
We handed out hundreds of leaflets and newsletters and spoke to some great people who were really interested in what we were doing - hope to see some of you next time.
