WE, the Bankers and financiers of the CITY of LONDON, do challenge thee – OVERPAID, UNDERWORKED public sector workers – to a series of CHALLENGES on the day of your SO-CALLED ‘strike for the alternative’.

CHALLENGE: a football match. Our team, BANKERS CITY FC, should like to match up against your PUBLIC SECTOR UNITED FC.

CHALLENGE: a pillow fight. You may bring feathered cushions, our pillows will be stuffed with CASH.
BRING: pillows.

CHALLENGE: mud-slinging. We expect you SCROUNGERS to put up a rather good fight in this one, what with your UNFOUNDED ACCUSATIONS of TAX DODGING and huge SUBSIDIES.
BRING: a strong throwing arm.

CHALLENGE: a water fight. So we can give you a proper good wash to remove the STENCH of SOLIDARITY.
BRING: water, balloons.

All challenges will be adjudicated by THE COALITION GOVERNMENT, who have proven themselves time and time again to be respectable, NEUTRAL facilitators of our disputes.

Location: Westminster Central Hall, Parliament Sq.
Time: After the RALLY at the end of the MARCH, approx. noon
Look out for the bankers’ black umbrellas.

SPECTATORS: free entry. Bring big spongy hands, whistles, vuvuzelas.

(Given the possibility of no genuine bankers turning up, please come dressed as one so the challenges can proceed!)
